During its meeting of 20 May, the Commission reviewed the proposed installation of a community based art project at the Kenilworth Avenue Bridge over Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue and approved the submission as presented. The members are pleased that the District Department of Transportation is collaboratively working with the Corcoran School of Art and members of the surrounding community to develop the installation. The finished art work should prove to be an enhancement to the neighborhood's identity.vWe look forward to its installation.
