The Commission regrets that the awnings and projecting sign were installed prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for three proposed replacement awnings on second floor within window openings with lettering on valance reading 'Vicky's Nails Boutique' as shown in supplemental drawings dated 25 August 2008 PROVIDED scallops are removed for a straight valance. Projecting sign was NOT approved and must be removed when awnings are installed no later than 30 November 2008. Note is made that this approval is based on current conditions and will not extend to future tenants of the space. Note: Because the application is pending final zoning review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
