No objection to issuance of permit for proposed two-story rear addition with basement, new portico, wood fence, gate and replacement windows as shown in supplemental drawings dated 10 November 2008 which indicate single-glazed true-divided-lite wood windows with half screens, no roof top mechanical equipment, 7-ft high wood replacement fence along property line and wood trim rather than PVC. Proposed flood lights are not appropriate to historic district, were not approved and were deleted from permit drawings. Wood fence must be painted or stained. Existing iron fence in front yard must be repaired and retained. No objection to razing of existing shed. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
