Recommend AGAINST concept design for alterations as proposed which are not appropriate to the historic character of the pair of houses. No objection to the concept design for rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 7 July 2011. Recommend further study of a single handrail against front wall, a single glass door at entry and replacement of vinyl windows on front facade with 1/1 all-wood windows. File new submission of detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Commission.
