No objection to issuance of permit for replacement of fence at rear with board-on-board fence and a 6-ft wide vertical board gate as shown in supplemental drawings dated 27 June 2011. Fence and gate must be painted or stained. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit. Paving of the parking pad off the rear alley with concrete, which is an impermeable paving material not appropriate to the historic district, was not approved, was deleted from the scope of work of this permit application and crossed-off the drawings. File new submission with permit application for paving of parking pad with brick or cobblestone pavers on a sand and gravel base for review by the Commission.
