No objection to issuance of permit for proposed sign scheme composed of logo and letters reading DC Jewelry Center' mounted to sign panel (12 in x 96 in.) above storefront cornice as shown in supplemental drawings dated 2 February 2012. Storefront cornice to be painted white. Existing signs applied to glass on storefront will be removed as part of the scope of this work and no later than 30 April 2012. Security metal grille mounted to exterior, which was not approved, was deleted from this permit application. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
