No objection to issuance of permit for proposed partial demolition, alterations and additions as shown in supplemental drawings dated 12 March 2012 which indicate repair of existing standing seam metal roof, solid cast stone steps on front stairs (rather than cladding which was not approved) with staggered joints, 18-ft width of alley, use of permeable pavers on terraces, reconstruction of brick garden wall along east property line, only one manhole for water meter vault on sidewalk, unification of the design of the garden walls with stone (stone facing was not approved), elimination of up-lights on landscaping, and use of half-screens on windows. New skylights must not be visible from public thoroughfare. Erect a mock-up of the skylights and the garden stone walls for review by the Old Georgetown Board prior to ordering materials. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
