The Commission regrets that two-story rear addition with basement expansion was completed prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed demolition of existing two-story rear addition with basement expansion and for new one-story rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 23 August and 14 September 2012 which indicate metal roof over addition, no expansion of basement, return of rear yard to original grade, and wood windows that match dimensions, profile and detailing of original windows. Recommend use of half-screens. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
