The Commission regrets that the striped awning with signs on the valance and end panels and the blade sign were installed prior to review or permit. Recommend against issuance of permit for existing awning and signs, which do not conform to the previously approved sign (see case OG 08-212). Striped awning, blade sign and signs on end panels of awnings are not appropriate to the character of the historic district. Remove existing awnings and signs no later than 30 June 2014.
