Recommendation
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations to terraces on side and rear yards, and for 6 feet high replacement wood fences as shown in supplemental drawings dated 20 June 2014 PROVIDED new brick and stone pavers are laid on sand and gravel base to make the terraces permeable, instead of using stone dust. Recommend stain on fences be opaque. The circular terrace on rear yard was deleted from the scope of work on this permit application. Note that The Foundation for the Preservation of Historic Georgetown holds an easement on this property. The scope of work does not include any work on front yard or on driveway which was submitted separately (see OG 14-252). Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re–submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
