Recommendation
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed non–illuminated sign composed of letters reading "Calligaris" and logo no taller than 12 inches high pin–mounted to cornice on projecting bay as shown in supplemental drawings dated 27 May and 4 June 2014 which indicate that the decals proposed for the glass on side of bay, which are not appropriate and were not approved, are deleted. Awnings with signs on second floor windows, which are not appropriate to the character of this historic building, and banner on alley were deleted from this permit application. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re–submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
