No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations to replace metal storefront and door, which had been installed prior to review or permit (see OG 09-266), with a new wood storefront as shown in drawings dated 5 September 2014 provided that the replacement of the windows on the front facade with insulated all-wood windows with 1 inch wide true divided lite muntins is completed as part of the scope of work of this permit. No objection to sign composed of non-illuminated letters no taller than 6 inches high reading "Avocado Cafe" ONLY. All mountings through mortar joints. Proposed window decal is inappropriate, was not approved and was deleted from this permit application. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
