The Commission regrets that vinyl railings at rear do not conform to previously approved metal design. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed storefront alterations and replacement windows per drawings received 6 June 2016 which indicate all-wood 2/2 insulated windows with 1 3/4-inch-wide true-divided-light muntins, and 4-inch structural wood transom bar at doors to second floor. Signs are not part of this permit application. Recommend stabilization of collapsed historic garage at rear. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
