Recommendation

Recommend AGAINST concept design for new garage roof and doors as proposed in drawings received 18 August 2016. Recommend removal of garage structure and curb-cut, and construction of new retaining wall and berm along street as mitigation for irreparable damage to exterior surfaces on free-standing 1898 brick residence caused by destructive removal of synthetic stucco recently applied, as well as removal of original windows on all elevations, raising of main roof, and removal of historic balustrade at ridge. File new drawings at DCRA for retaining wall and berm with concept application for review by the Commission.
