No objection to issuance of permit to replace the front door and install historically appropriate single-glazed transom and trim, restoration of the front windows, landscape changes to the front yard, a second floor addition on the south side of the rear ell, fenestration changes to the rear ell, and replacement windows and doors on the detached garage, per supplemental materials received __ July 2020, which indicate all exterior windows and doors will be solid wood with putty profile muntins. The dimensions and design of the front door, transom, and associated trim is delegated to CFA staff for final review. The applicant must submit documentation to CFA staff of selective demolition, undertaken by the applicant, which investigates the original framing and trim of the front entry, prior to starting construction. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
