Recommendation

Returned without action. The Commission regrets the relocation of the gas and electrical meters from the interior to the front façade, which is incompatible with the historic district, as a change to the approved plans. Recommend policy discussion with DC Department of Buildings on regulation of utility meter installations in Old Georgetown historic district. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
