In its meeting of 17 March, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed a revised concept proposal for additions, facade alterations, and site modifications to the office building property at 500 North Capitol Street, NW (case number SL 11-065). The Commission approved option 2B in the submission, presented as a consistent glass facade with a vertical recess on both street elevations. The Commission members expressed appreciation to the design team for its work since the last meeting, observing that all four presented options responded directly to the Commission's comments in previous reviews.
The Commission looks forward to the review of the final design. As always, the staff is available to assist you.
