Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of two double-faced, internally illuminated blade signs on an existing building, as shown in materials received and dated 7 March 2014. Double-faced signs, internally illuminated signs, and blade signs are not permitted in the Shipstead-Luce Act area. No objection to the issuance of a permit for one non-illuminated flat panel sign to be mounted above the entrance, as shown in materials received and dated 7 March 2014 and supplemental materials received and dated 18 March 2014.
