Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of nine replacement windows in the front facade of an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2019 and supplemental materials received and dated 19 September 2019 and 18 May 2020. Staff notes with regret that vinyl insert replacement windows were installed throughout the house without a permit and without CFA review, as were new railings on the rear facade, and that the submission has been inactive for an extended period of time awaiting requested supplemental materials. Forward a new and completely documented submission for full tear-out replacement windows and new railings when ready. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
