No objection to the issuance of a permit for modifications to the rear facade of an existing building, including a two-story glazed opening, a new balcony, and new access stairs to the balcony, as shown in materials received and dated 2 April 2021 and supplemental materials received and dated 12 April 2021. Recommend that the original windows be thoroughly surveyed and documented prior to demolition, for reference during any future window replacement project. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
