No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of one non-illuminated panel sign and one set of door vinyls at an existing building for H Street Fine Wines and Liquors, as shown in materials received and dated 2 July 2021 and supplemental materials received and dated 19 January 2022. Staff notes with regret that an internally illuminated cabinet sign, a projecting banner sign, door vinyls, and three neon advertising signs were installed without CFA review and without a permit. Banner signs, projecting signs, and internally illuminated signs are not permitted in the Shipstead-Luce Act area. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
