Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of a new internally illuminated canopy sign at the west facade of new residential building under construction, as shown in materials received and dated 5 April 2024, due to lack of compliance with sign regulations for the Shipstead-Luce Act area. No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of a non-illuminated sign for parking and loading on the north facade of the building, as shown in materials received and dated 5 April 2024, pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Forward a new submission for signs that comply with the regulations for the Shipstead-Luce Act area when ready.
