No objection to the concept for the installation of nine non-illuminated signs in a building currently under construction, including a numerical wall sign at the Maryland Avenue main building entry; three building identity wall signs near the Maryland Avenue and Maine Avenue pedestrian entrances; a two-sided pedestrian wayfinding pylon at Maryland Circle; parking signs at the Maine Avenue vehicular entrance; two parking pylons at the 12th Street and Maryland Avenue vehicular entrances; and one parking pylon at the Maine Avenue vehicular entrances PROVIDED that the DC Department of Transportation allows the installation of this parking pylon in public space, as shown in materials received and dated 6 March 2026 and supplemental materials received and dated 18 March 2026. Exterior retail signage is not included in this review; forward a separate submission for retail signs complying with the regulations for signs in the Shipstead-Luce Act area when ready. Refer to the DC Public Space Committee. Note: This is a concept approval only. When ready, submit the permit drawings and a permit application to DOB for review by the Commission.
