No objection to the concept for the installation of a perforated ten-foot-tall aluminum screen to conceal new rooftop mechanical equipment, the installation of a new roof hatch, and the removal and infill of an existing skylight at an existing building, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2026 and supplemental materials received and dated 14 and 15 April 2026. Recommend selecting a light gray color for the metal screen finish instead of white to blend with the sky in the background. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: This is a concept approval only. When ready, submit the permit drawings and a permit application to DOB for review by the Commission.
