Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 21 March 2019

No objection to the final design for interim improvements to the vehicular security screening checkpoints on E Street at 15th and 17th Streets, NW, as shown in materials received and dated 7 March 2019. Project conforms to previously approved installations of security access control and vehicular screening facilities in this area.

No objection to the final design for improvements to the Constitution Avenue Belvedere and the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway pedestrian and bicycle trail in the vicinity of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, as shown in construction drawings and documents received and dated 5 March 2019. The design details as shown in the submitted construction documents conform to the approved design. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the proposed replacement of the existing single-glazed glass storefront windows and doors at the first floor of the Theodore Roosevelt Building (Office of Personnel Management) with double-glazed assemblies, as shown in materials received and dated 26 February 2019. The project also includes: a new ADA compliant ramp with railings at Door BB; a landing and a step at Doors U, X, Y, CC, and FF; and the replacement of the failing terrazzo under the storefront assemblies with either cast stones or concrete. No objection to concept design for the installation of a public artwork by David Prete at the Capitol View Neighborhood Library, as shown in materials received and dated 7 March 2018. The concept design and placement of the artwork conforms to the concept design for the second phase of the library renovation project approved in February 2018. No objection to the final design for the installation of replacement windows at Neval Thomas Elementary School, as shown in materials received and dated 6 March 2019. Design conforms to previously approved window replacement project in 2014. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
