Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 16 May 2019

No objection to the proposed modification to the existing museum identification signs of the National Law Enforcement Museum, as shown in materials received and dated 17 April 2019. Opaque blue vinyl will be applied on the front face of the existing acrylic letters to improve the readability of the existing sign. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design for the proposed interim signs for the secondary visitor gates to the National Zoological Park, as shown in materials received and dated 2 May 2019. The proposed signs conform to the previously approved fencing project. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the proposed concept design for a one-story addition to the north side of the main hospital building of the Washington, D.C., VA Medical Center, located at 50 Irving Street, NW, to house a consolidated medical oncology and cancer center, as shown in materials received and dated 29 April 2019. The addition will also provide a new patient vehicle drop-off area, separate entry with a canopy, and a new lobby for the facility.

No objection to the proposed installation of 12 rooftop wireless telecommunication antennas on the South Building of the USDA Headquarters, as shown in materials received and dated 1 May 2019. This proposal conforms with previously approved designs for antenna installations on the South Building. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design for the installation of a rooftop pole-mounted antenna on the penthouse of Building 52 at the United States Naval Observatory, as shown in materials received and dated 2 May 2019. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) compliant floodwater modifications to DC Water Main Sewerage Pumping Station. These modifications include: sealing exterior drains, conduits, and wall penetrations; installation of exterior doorway protections and inflatable dam structures; protection of exterior equipment, ventilation ducts, and louvers; and parging of ventilation shafts and stairways, as shown in materials received and dated 2 May 2019. No objection to the concept design for a new community recreation center addition to Shepherd Elementary School, as shown in materials received and dated 2 May 2019.

No objection to the installation of a standard ClearChannel bus shelter at the southwestern corner of 35th and Dent Place, NW, as shown in materials received and dated 23 April 2019, provided there are no advertisements displayed or posted on the shelter and that the applicant submits, for separate review by the Old Georgetown Board, the lighting plan with detailed construction and context drawings. It is understood that any additional bus shelter installations within the Old Georgetown historic district will be submitted individually for review by the Old Georgetown Board.
