No objection to the final design to construct two barrier-free walkways between the parking area and the main entrance of the visitor services building, per materials received 6 July 2023. Scope of work includes interlocking brick pavers at the pedestrian crosswalk, and new rose and grass plantings to match the existing landscape

No objection to the final design for the installation of new entrance canopies, per materials received 6 July 2023. The canopy designs, which are consistent with previous Commission advice, will be installed at the following five Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Metrorail stations as previously approved: Archives/Navy Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Judiciary Square North, Smithsonian, and U Street/African-American Civil War Memorial East.

No objection to the final design for building renovations and landscape improvements to an existing fast food restaurant on the base, per materials received 6 July 2023.

No objection to the final design for the installation of seven outdoor exercise stations at Bolling Green Park on the base, per materials received 6 July 2023.

No objection to the final design for the installation of a new mechanical equipment yard at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, per materials received 6 July 2023.

No objection to the final design for modifications to this existing triangle park, per materials received 6 July 2023. Scope consist of new permeable pavers, tables with seating and umbrellas, game tables, bike racks, street vendor spaces, additional shade trees, and new DPR signage.

No objection to the concept design for the installation of a new landscape terrace at the Hill Center, per materials received 6 July 2023, with the suggestion to shift the terrace slightly to the northwest. Please continue to work with the staff on the development of the design in anticipation of a final submission.
