No objection to the final design to restore the temporary installation of artwork entitled "The Chicken and the Egg" in Reservation 183 for two years, per materials received 5 March 2026. The Commission approved the project and location in February 2019. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design of a new commercial vehicle inspection facility and a restroom building on the Pentagon Reservation adjacent to the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes the replacement of the existing vehicle screening facility with a permanent one that incorporates within the building, a control room, administrative spaces, and a kennel while a canopy will cover the vehicles to be inspected. A stand-alone structure with restrooms for visitors to the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial is also being proposed. (Previous: CFA 22/JAN/26-b)

No objection to the final designs for the renovation of Roosevelt Hall, a National Historic Landmark, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes modernization of building systems, abatement and removal of hazardous materials, and repairs to roof and envelope features that will allow for continued educational use.

No objection to the final designs for the gate improvements for vehicles and pedestrians, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes replacement of existing outdated vehicular and pedestrian gate with equipment that meets current security standards.

No objection to the final design for wireless communication antennas, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes the installation of one new T-Mobile antenna on the northwest penthouse of the building which will be painted to match the building and other existing antennas.

No objection to the final design for the construction of a new egress door and accessible ramp within an existing window opening at the rear parking lot, per materials received 5 March 2026.

No objection to final design for construction of a new staircase and pathway, per materials received 5 March 2026. Project is intended to create a safe pedestrian route through a wooded area for sta to access Blue Road and the main Zoo campus from Science Hill. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design of six temporary signs identifying "Growing Tomorrow," which is an exhibition at various locations on the National Mall, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes the installation of six signs ranging in size from six to nine feet tall, which explores ways gardens bring people and plants together and will in place for three years.

No objection to the final design for mechanical equipment on the roof, per materials received 5 March 2026. Scope of work includes the installation of new heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation equipment to replace the existing equipment which needed to be replaced.

No objection to issuance of permit for new cafeteria addition, per supplemental materials received 10 March 2026, which indicate that metal panels are used instead of fiber-cement panels, and two punched openings with proportions of openings on existing building are used for the window design. Case was originally submitted as OG 26-136.

No objection to concept design for installation of one 3000K light within the bus shelter behind the existing "35th St & Dent Pl, NW" sign, per supplemental materials received 20 February 2026, PROVIDED the light would only be visible from inside the shelter. File permit submission at DOB with detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Commission. Case was originally submitted as OG 26-143.
