Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 17 February 2011

No objection to the final plans for the revised landscaping and walkways associated with the 17th Street levee closure structure, as shown in materials received and dated 3 February 2011, provided the configuration of the walkway south of the Lockkeeper's House is fully coordinated with that shown on page L-012 (drawing revision dated 26 Jan, 2011). Overall design conforms to the previously approved plan and includes the elimination of the underground storage vault and its associated plaza south of the Lockkeeper's house (see previous case).

No objection to the concept design for exterior alterations that include: the removal of two 1995 exterior metal stairs and doorways associated with the current restaurant tenant; the restoration of the original windows and window openings; and, inboard of the historic windows, the addition of decorative interior insulated window units featuring graphic illustrations of stamps at the first and mezzanine levels, as shown in materials received and dated 3 February 2011.

No objection to the concept design for the proposed alterations and accessibility improvements to the Beaver Valley Exhibit site and trail north of the Seal and Sea Lion Exhibit site as shown in materials received and dated 3 February 2011.

No objection to the construction of an outdoor classroom and the installation of a green roof terrace on the one-story lobby portion of the 1960s-era wing of Maury Elementary School as shown in materials received and dated 4 February 2011.
