Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 15 November 2007

No objection to the installation of a temporary sign at the site of the future new vehicular entrance to the U.S. National Arboretum, as shown in material received and dated 31 October 2007, for a period of three years or until the new vehicular entrance is constructed.

No objection to the first phase of the proposed building modernization project, which includes reconfiguration of the existing rooftop cooling towers, additional height to be added to the existing rooftop elevator overrun, rehabilitation of the infill structure in Courtyard Six, as shown in material received and dated 2 November 2007. Note that the work scheduled for Phase I does not include perimeter landscaping and security elements nor the relocated entrance to the National Aquarium. The included items in Phase I conform to the previously approved concept. (Previous: CFA 16/MAR/06-4)

No objection to the proposed rehabilitation, alterations, and repair of the Thomas Jefferson Street Bridge (Bridge #4), the 30th Street Bridge (Bridge #5), and the 29th Street Bridge (Bridge #6) over the C & O Canal in Georgetown as shown in drawings received and dated 7 November 2007. The project conforms to the previously approved concepts (see case: CFA 15/OCT/98-4).
