No objection to general concept design for new railing design with galvanized wire mesh panels as shown in supplemental drawings dated 28 January 2008, provided tubular railings replicate existing dimensions. Recommend use of brackets, as opposed to columns, for additional structural support at stairs as required. File new submission of working drawings, including dimensions and details, for review by the Commission when ready.

No objection to issuance of permit to replace front door with wood panels as indicated in supplemental drawings dated 18 January 2008.

Recommend against concept design for roof deck and awning. Recommend installation of small sconces at front entrance. The Commission regrets that alterations were completed prior to review and without a permit.
