Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of three internally illuminated wall signs, as shown in materials received and dated 14 October 2022, due to non-conformance with sign regulations for the Shipstead-Luce Act area. Internally illuminated signs are not permitted in the Shipstead-Luce Act area, and sign area is limited to 25 SF per business per street frontage. Also, staff notes with regret that the base building permit was issued without referral for CFA review; permit applications at the District Wharf, including all water side buildings, require CFA review.
