Dear Mr. Brady:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final design for the proposed project for the School Without Walls, which includes additions to and renovation of the historic Grant School building at 2130 G Street, NW. The staff has no objections to the final plans as they conform to the previously approved concept plans and with the suggested modifications.
With the delegated authority of the Commission, we grant final approval for the School Without Walls project as shown in the drawings and materials received and dated 4 February 2008.
Should there be major changes made during construction, please contact the staff and we will assist you in determining if additional review is required. We look forward to the review of future projects for the District of Columbia Public Schools. If you have any questions, the staff is available to assist you.
