No objection to general concept for massing and footprint of proposed side and rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 25 June 2008. Recommend further study of detailing of facade treatment including Mansard roof projection, panels below window sills, and blanked window. Request reduction of the amount of demolition of the original exterior wall at the northwest corner of the wing which, as proposed, is not appropriate. File new submission of design development drawings, including additional detailing and site work, with concept application for review by the Commission when ready.
