No objection to issuance of permit for partial demolition of structures behind historic building and for 2-story rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 16 November 2009 which indicate reduction on the scope of the work to eliminate any work on the historic building and the area of the proposed hyphen connection to the rear addition. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit. File new submission of working drawings, including details and dimensions, with separate permit application for renovation of historic building, for new fenced courtyard at front yard and for revised design for hyphen connection to the rear addition, for review by the Commission when ready. Recommend removal of metal siding to explore condition of original siding underneath prior to next review.
