Dear Ms. Glover:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final design submission from the District of Columbia Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, and the District Department of Recreation for the building addition and modernization, and site improvements at the Fort Stanton Recreation Center located at 1812 Erie Street, SE. The staff has no objections to the final plans for this project.
With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 23 November 2009, we approve the final design submission for this project as documented in the drawings and materials received and dated 4 November 2011. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
