Replacement doors and windows

No objection to issuance of permit for proposed replacement front door, side door with transom, show window, basement awning windows and double-hung windows with 1/1 all wood windows provided height of front door matches height of original door and returns transom bar to original width, existing brick mould is retained and repaired, replacement windows are sized to fit masonry opening (without introduction of second frame) and either half-screens or no screens are used as shown in supplemental information dated 20 June 2013. Shutters will be removed as part of the scope of work. Replacement of windows and doors at rear were deleted from this permit application and will be submitted separately. Note that signs mounted on front facade and to pole on front yard were installed prior to review or permit. File new submission at DCRA of detailed and dimensioned drawings with permit application for signs no later than the 15 August 2013 deadline for review by the Commission. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design made during DCRA Technical Review must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
