The Commission regrets that work was initiated without a permit. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations at rear and for masonry openings on side wall as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 2 November 2006, which indicate proposed second story rear balcony has been deleted from this application. Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for proposed MW windows with pvc muntins which were NOT approved and are inappropriate to the historic building. Existing temporary wood replacement windows must be replaced with an approved window no later than 30 April 2007. File new submission of alternate 2/2 replacement wood windows with new permit application for review by the Commission when ready. Note: Because application is pending final zoning review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval.
