No objection to the issuance of a permit for the replacement of an existing brick retaining wall in disrepair, partially in public space, with a new retaining wall with a railing, as shown in materials received and dated 4 September 2015, PROVIDED that the wall be faced with brick or stucco, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Recommend that the extent of the proposed railing be reduced as much as possible. Refer to DC Public Space Committee. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
