No objection to the final design for the installation of rooftop solar panels on the Eastern High School, as shown in materials received and dated 5 October 2015. Recommend against the installation of carports topped with solar panels in or over the right-of-way of A Street, NE, which is an historic L'Enfant street. Suggest installing the carports above the bleachers on the south side of the ball field to provide shade to the spectators. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
