Dear Mr. Hunter:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final submission for a new addition and landscape alterations to Stoddert Elementary School, located at 4001 Calvert Street, NW. The staff finds the submission to be consistent with the previous advice of the Commission and has no objections to the final design for this project.
With the authority delegated by the Commission at its public meeting of 21 September 2023, the staff approves the final plans for the project, as documented in the materials received and dated 20 December 2023, which specify the “Royal Red” color range for the brick cladding of the new addition.
As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
