Recommendation

No objection to the final design for the construction of a new accessible walkway and the rehabilitation of the historic landscape, per materials received 5 September 2024. Scope of work also includes the installation of new iron gates; new bluestone-clad retaining walls; and the cleaning and repointing of historic masonry walls. Proposed trees and shrubs are consistent with Cultural Landscape Report recommendations. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
