No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of 14 green-and-white striped replacement fabric awnings and a retractable awning at the courtyard of an existing hotel, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2024, PROVIDED that the awnings be installed without signage. Recommend AGAINST painting the existing balcony and Juliet balcony railings throughout the building a dark bronze color, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2024; recommend instead that they be painted to match the original window mullions to maintain congruency with the overall facade color palette and avoid altering the visual proportions of the entrance facade. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
