Recommendation

No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of replacement windows at eight dwelling units, including seven units on the first floor and one unit on the basement, an egress door, a new areaway, steps, retaining wall, a new opening and gate on the existing stone wall, and mechanical equipment; and the relocation of an existing laundry room from the first floor to the basement in an existing apartment building, as shown in materials received and dated 3 January 2025, PROVIDED that measures be taken to protect existing trees and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Recommend avoiding all tree roots with a diameter greater than two inches during construction. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
