Letter
Dear Mr. Braunohler:
In the meeting of 21 September, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the revised concept for the proposed eleven-story office building at 801 17th Street, NW (SL 06-151). The Commission appreciated the expansion of the proposed green roof and removal of the spandrel panels on the facade. The Commission supported the preference of the architect and approved the change in location for the corner recesses, noting an improvement to the overall massing because of the change.
The Commission has delegated the final review of this project to staff. As always, the staff is available to assist you in coordinating your next submission.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas Luebke, AIA
