No objection to the final design for repairs to the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal, including the rehabilitation and reconstruction of select sections of the masonry canal walls, the replacement of the lower gates at Lock 1 with inoperable gates fixed in the open position, and the rehabilitation of the upper gates at Lock 1, but fixed in the open position, per materials received 11 August 2022, which indicate the lock gates at Lock 2 will remain.
