New metal fence atop the existing boundary wall

No objection to the final design for the addition of 1,300 linear feet of a four-foot-high black metal picket fence on top of the existing four-foot-high stone boundary wall along Richmond Highway (VA Rt.110), from the entrance ramp from Memorial Avenue north to the Ord and Weitzel Gate, as shown in materials received and dated 4 November 2021. The proposed new fence matches the design of the existing security fence between Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and the north side of the cemetery. Refer to the Virginia State Historic Preservation Office.
