Dear Mr. Falcicchio:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed modifications to the final design for a new hospital building, parking garage, and associated landscape to be located on Parcel 2 of the St. Elizabeths East Campus. These modifications include the development of the option for six floors to the hospital, as previously approved, and changes to the color of the precast concrete at the parking garage elevator and stair tower to match the color of the parking garage. The staff has no objections to the final design documents for the project as submitted.
With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 21 April 2022, we approve the final plans for the project, as documented in the materials received and dated 20 December 2022. If there are any additional changes, please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
