Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of four internally illuminated logo signs on the existing hotel awnings, as shown in materials received and dated 6 January 2012. Internally illuminated signs are not appropriate on a landmark structure owned by the Federal Government. Suggest using non- internally-illuminated signs. (Submitted under case number SL 12-020).
