Letter
Dear Mr. Dormsjo:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final construction documents for the proposed accent lighting on the Francis Case Bridge, which carries I-395 over the Washington Channel and Maine Avenues, SW. The staff has no objections to the final construction documents for the project as submitted.
With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 19 March 2015, we approve the final plans for the installation of the accent lighting on the Francis Case Bridge, as documented in the materials received and dated 26 October 2015. If there are any additional changes please contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required.
Once the installation is completed and the lighting levels are ready to be set, please contact the staff to arrange a lighting demonstration in order to set the appropriate levels of illumination. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
